Background

British businessman and son of media mogul Robert Maxwell, and brother of Ghislaine Maxwell. Kevin was deeply involved in his father's business operations at Mirror Group Newspapers and Maxwell Communication Corporation. Following Robert Maxwell's death in 1991, Kevin and his brother Ian were arrested and charged with fraud related to the theft of approximately 440 million pounds from the Mirror Group pension fund, but both were acquitted in 1996 after one of the longest criminal trials in English legal history.

Kevin was declared bankrupt for a record sum of 406 million pounds. He later rebuilt a career in business and has spoken publicly about Ghislaine Maxwell's conviction, stating the crimes against Epstein victims were not committed by his sister. He is listed in Jeffrey Epstein's black book as part of the Maxwell family network.
